wrap coat // over the knee high boots // tote

jeans // fur scarf (similar)

My favorite part of winter is when it is over and every brand/designer starts having amazing sales. It is the best time to snag the coat you wanted or the boots you have been dying over but were too expensive to buy. Although we have a good month left of winter, so items will be worn, retailers are clearing out their cold season collections and switching it for their spring collection. Yes, the best time of the year…… starring in the new horror film called casper-like pale, unshaved legs in shorts. Rated R.

There isn’t a workout challenge I wouldn’t take…. well, for the most part. So when my friend Ashley, from the blog Impossibly Imperfect, approached me with the idea to join her for Body Conceptions winter challenge I was 100% in. I didn’t need to ask questions or really ask what Body Conceptions was. I just knew it was a workout challenge and I was ready to go. I know, I am a freak.

ruffle sweater (on sale!!) // over the knee boots // high-waisted jeans

 shoulder bag // earrings c/o

As spring quickly approaches (fingers crossed) I am starting to wear clothes that will easily transition into the new season. Pieces that can be worn in both winter and spring. When I first saw this ruffle sweater (currently on sale!!) I knew I had to have it. It is light enough for spring-like temps but is also a perfect cold season look. Plus it has ruffles… what more could you ask for?! The side ruffles gives it a little bit more flare and character. A simple sweater to wear and still feel like you have style.

Happy Friday! SO much to talk about today! This past week was crazy with NYFW, I had a really great Valentine’s Day, and I have been getting my butt kicked in Body Conceptions.  During NYFW I had a really great time hanging out with my blogging friends and meeting new ones. I hosted a happy hour at Union Fare Saturday as a meet up for influencers/bloggers. I am so happy it turned out well and everyone seemed to have a great time! I saw a few shows, but honestly wish I went to more. I declined a few because I went to ModelFIT’s second Wellness Series Event. I signed up for it over a month ago not putting two and two together that it was fashion week. I am so happy and grateful I went to the series, as we talked about relationships and love and got to eat lots of chocolate, but was bummed to miss some of the fashion shows. Oh well, there is always September!  Besides the shows I went to Redken’s kick off NYFW party, spent hours at Shop Style’s Social House, and had brunch with Bloglovin’. So all in all NYFW was a success!!
