Happy Friday!! I am pretty excited for this weekend! Tonight I am going to (FINALLY) see The Lumineers in concert with Tillie from My Stiletto Life.  I love The Lumineers and have been dying to see them in concert for a while now. The concert, I have heard from people who went in Columbus, is really good so I am pretty excited about it! Besides the concert on Saturday I am going to the Rebecca Minkoff store for an exclusive watch of their Fashion Week show–which is being held in L.A. What is cool about this year’s show is that it will be shoppable right then and there. Make sure to follow LiketoKnow.It and me (@blushandblooms) on Instagram for shoppable looks! Valentine’s Day, I know, is not the most well-liked holiday for everyone. Single people either loath it because they feel extra alone and couple’s find it cheesy and can dread celebrating the day. I for one, single or not, like Valentine’s Day. I mean the holiday is based on wearing pink, eating chocolate, pampering yourself, getting a present or two, flowers, and hearts… what is there not to like?! It is all of my favorite things wrapped into one day. Each year I like to do one nice thing for myself; i.e. buy shoes, get a massage, buy chocolates, etc. This year I am not sure what I will gift myself, but here are some ideas I have in mind.

I have never been one to shy away from a detailed top. Whether it is ruffles, embellishments, lace, or bows I will always gravitate towards these feminine details. Lately I have been searching for new tops to go out in on the weekends and tops for NYFW in a few weeks.  I want something feminine to wear with black pants or my leather pants. Winter can be so dreary with big chunky sweaters that I tend not dress up like I love to, so these tops will be a great alternative to those basic tops we wear all the time.

Happy Friday! After a long weekend with my family in Atlanta, I have spent this week catching up on emails and listening to the La La Land soundtrack on repeat. It is SO good! My favorite song is “Another Day Of Sun”, it puts me in such a great mood!
