What can I say about the greatness of a Barbour jacket that hasn’t already been said by me. I love my Barbour jacket. I love wearing it. I think about it on a daily bases. I love the preppy-outdoorsy feel to it—and nothing screams outdoorsy more than me………. obviously.
Yesterday was the perfect Sunday. It was a fall cozy rainy day and it was everything I’ve ever wanted. Yes I love it when it rains on Sunday. I think nothing is more perfect than to snuggle up with a blanket and watch movies all day while it pours outside. If it was sunny and warm I would feel guilty (well maybe a only a little) for not enjoying the day, but when it rains there is not excuse but to be a lazy couch potato. Yesterday was the perfect setup, except I did not get to take a nap and watch Netflix all day like I wanted to. I spent all day packing for New York and moving furniture. Life is not fair sometimes.

When we want to live a healthy lifestyle, whether we are starting on a new journey or improving one, we are setting goals to achieve it. That goal can be anywhere from cutting sugar cravings to running a marathon. Keeping this idea of the destination is what keeps us motivated to go back to the gym or to say no to that cookie. It is hard, it is challenging, but it is always worth it.

This past Monday night I attended the Yelp Columbus phony rehearsal dinner event at Bleu & Fig. The event called for a casual, yet cute attire so I decided to wear the classic look of a turtleneck and corduroy skirt combination. You can’t get more timeless than this duo. I am a huge fan of wearing turtlenecks throughout winter and fall. I always find them to be chic and easy to style.
