Two weeks ago I headed over to the Big Apple for a long weekend trip. The moment I touched down in New York, I was instantly happy. There are no words to describe how much I love this city. I am already looking to book another weekend there soon! The last few trips to NYC were quick ones, so I was excited to relax and spend time frolicking around the city like I used to. Everyday I miss the city so much, and to be honest, I would move back in a heart beat. Until that happens, I will take any excuse to spend time in my favorite place on earth.

Living in the Midwest means I will be wearing my winter coat for the majority of the year. Ugh so depressing! Anyway, a few years ago I realized that by the end of winter I would be SO SICK and BORED of wearing the same coat day after day, I decided to start collecting coats. It helps deals with those snowstorm, why did I get up, type of days. To me a coat is not only something you throw on to keep warm, it is a statement piece, part of your style. It is the ONLY thing people will see when you walk down the street.

Have you heard?! Kate Spade has a new home collection and it is amazing! In true Kate Spade fashion, each piece is girly, colorful, and fun! I believe everyone will be able to find something in this collection that they have to have, no matter what your decor styling may be. Although some of the items are pretty pricey, there are many items that I am smitten with.
