Saying I enjoy the 4th of July is an understatement, I LOVE the 4th! The entire day is full of tradition and celebration starting with watching the parade, hopping from picnic to picnic, then ending the day watching fireworks in the park with the entire community. Always so much fun! Do you have any fun plans? We are having a big family reunion and I will also attend some picnics with friends.Although it is a few weeks away, I am already starting to plan my outfit. Since I am running around all day I want to look cute yet still comfortable. I always opt for a summer dress like this one or a cute romper to roam around in.  This year I am thinking of wearing striped shorts and a white blouse, but haven’t fully made up my mind yet. Lets be honest, I will end up with a dress because I am obsessed with dresses and will use any excuse to buy a new one 🙂

Tonight I am fulfilling my childhood life long dream, I am seeing the NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK IN CONCERT!!!!!!!!!! I am not really that excited about it….. only kidding, I am SO EXCITED!  NKOTB was the first band that I was obsessed with. My sister, cousin, and I had anywhere from trading cards, t-shirts, lunch boxes, cassette tapes, and lots of other memorabilia. Remember that little mini movie they made? Watched it a thousand times and still have it.
Since I am seeing my first 5 boyfriends tonight,  I, of course, have to have the perfect outfit to impress Donnie, Joey, Jordan, Jonathan, and Danny. My old t-shirts no longer fit me, so I have to go with plan B. I want to wear something comfortable so I can dance around, yet still look stylish. A romper is always a perfect summer night outfit.

This past weekend I celebrated the wedding of two of my really great friends growing up. If you follow me on Snapchat @mtate24, I apologize for all the dance videos…Anyway, the weekend was a blast and I loved being around my childhood friends again. This was the first time since high school all of us were at the same place. You can imagine the fun we had, just like old times!
Well this mini family reunion has me now laying not the couch, barely able to move or think. Making a blog post was too much work to do….so instead I am giving you an insight into my current shopping bag with items that I am lusting over!
I promise I will rejoin civilization soon….

If you haven’t noticed by now, I am a little crazy-pants about my skin. You can read about my obsessiveness here. Well the madness continues and this time I am talking about becoming a vampire aka staying away from the sun and being pale all year round. Sounds amazingly attractive……. I use to wake and bake all the time in college. Heading to the tanning bed every other day, laying out for countless hours in the sun and bragging about how I never get a sun burn. I was like a bronzed goddess 8 months out of the year. Those were the days! Now I am all “save my skin from ruins”!! I wear a hat when I lay out to block the sun from my face, I never step outside without sunscreen (on my face, need to work on my body), and I make sure to sit outside for a only short periods of time. Skin care is so important, as skin cancer is the most common cancer in America. Safety first friends!
