As more and more of my friends have little peanuts, I am starting to become pretty envious of children’s clothing. When I worked for J.Crew I would walk through Crewcuts whimpering, “does this come in my size?”. Unfortunately no, no it does not. Kids these days are so darn chic and lucky. They have the most darling clothes ever! Honestly, where was Kate Spade for Gap and Crewcuts when I was growing up? I am not sure where my parents bought my clothes as a child, but I do remember being able to dress myself; mixing prints with patterns, and wearing dresses and leggings only. I would have ravished in such joy and happiness at these stores. Life is not always fair, but at least I now have cute little friends to shop for.

Untitled #21

Vest: J.Crew // Sweater: Vince // Sunglasses: Marc By Marc Jacobs // Earrings: Kate Spade New York // Jeans: 7 For All Mankind // Boots: Tory Burch // Bag: Mansur Gavriel

There are so many wonderful things about the fall season: Picking out pumpkins and carving them, pumpkin flavor anything, bonfires with family and friends, drinking hot chocolate, leaves changing colors, and curling up with my favorite fur blanket while watching Hocus Pocus. But my absolute favorite part of fall is, of course, the clothes.

The J.Crew vest above is a great light jacket for the fall. It is easy to throw on and still look chic. I already have it in two different colors and have been wanting to get another one, thats how much I love wearing them or maybe I am just completely indecisive. The same can be said for riding boots, I always want more than option. These stylish Tory Burch riding boots are so different and really completes an outfit!

Shop similar looks here:

Yesterday I finally got to check out Simply Vague at Tuttle Mall. I have been looking at their instagram pictures for a while now and was curious exactly what the store was about. Carrying over 250 vendors, Simply Vague sells only local unique and one of a kind products by Ohio artists and hand crafters.  I am all about supporting small local businesses, so was excited to see some amazing products in their store.
One product line in particular that caught my eye was a collection of map accessories by Daisy Mae Designs. I mostly loved the bottle openers and thought they would make a cute and creative house warming gift. Have a friend who is moving to the German Village? Give them the bottle opener with a map of GV!  Daisy Mae Designs also sells map accessories from Chicago, New York, Paris, etc. The Manhattan map is obviously high on my wish list.
Simply Vague is also located in Polaris Fashion Place and South Campus Gateway. If you have the time I suggest going and checking out all of their merchandise and support your community!
