If you gave me a piece of paper and a pencil and told me to design a fabulous dress, this would be it! I am absolutely in LOVE with the Sabbina Dress from the Kate Spade Madison Ave. Collection. The color is stunning and the big feminine bow is right up my ally! This dress is perfect for rehearsal dinner or if you are attending a wedding or a big event. It is a little on the “I’m so fancy” side of my budget, so I found some similar looks for less.
P.S. My birthday is coming up soon and incase you were wondering what to get me, I know of a pretty blue dress with a bow on it that would do 🙂

We did it!! This past Saturday my dad and I rode 50 miles in the Pelotonia to help raise money for cancer research. After training all spring and summer long, when I rode through the finish line I felt so proud of myself and my dad’s accomplishment! Fifty miles was no walk in the park, but it was a lot of fun and the entire experience was worth all of the aches and pains I felt afterwards.
I knew going into the ride that I was doing my part in helping to fight a terrible disease, and I knew I was getting a great workout in, but what I experienced was so much more than that. The entire route was filled with people cheering with bells and signs of encouragement and thanks, and all I could hear and see was an outpouring of love and gratitude. It was a very emotional and heartwarming experience and one that I will never forget.
I want to thank everyone who supported not only my ride, but everyone else’s and helping us all reach our goal. No matter what the amount you gave someone, it really makes a huge difference. To my fellow riders, I feel blessed to have rode along side you because without your love and comradery we wouldn’t be a step closer to ending this disease. Thank you all.

Location: 1987 Guilford Road in The Mallway in Old Arlington.

A true hidden gem in Upper Arlington, Ohio, South Of Lane is by far my favorite brunch spot in Columbus. This is a locally owned breakfast and lunch only cafe. Run by the sweetest most darling woman, this place is cosy and truly charming. Sit outdoors on a perfect sunny day and enjoy the atmosphere of cute neighborhood shops. Sit indoors and you will find an eclectic mix of tables and seats and a wall full of antiques that can be purchased. “All in good taste” as the cafe’s motto states and perfect I might add for the location, but I maybe bias 🙂

Now onto the yummy food…

Not only is the cafe and staff wonderful, the food is so delicious! For brunch I usually order one of the “3-2-1 omelets” (3 eggs, 2 folds, 1 cheese) options with a side of fruit and green tea. My favorite, the greek omelet, is stuffed with fresh spinach, tomatoes, red onions and feta cheese, and topped with Kalamata olives. Besides their yummy omelets there is a variety of waffles, pastries, and french toast– I hear their bourbon-pecan french toast is truly heaven!

Although it is my go-to brunch spot, it is just as good of a spot for lunch. Ranging from sandwiches to flatbreads to salads and soups, the entire menu is delicious! For lunch I have tried the veggie sandwich and the kale salad, which are both worth ordering again. The kale salad has bacon, eggs, corn, avocado, carrots, and pecans in it.
For my gluten-free friends there are some tasty options both for breakfast and lunch!
If you haven’t had the pleasure of eating at South Of Lane, you must really be SOL (see what I did there), because this place is a must!
