Happy Friday! And happy Taylor Swift Red (Taylor’s Version) release day to those who celebrate! I’ve been listening to the album and enjoying it, but am counting down to when she releases the 10 minute video for “All Too Well.” It’s going to be a masterpiece. (more…)

Happy Friday! It’s been a sad few days… there is a matcha shortage at Starbucks because of the supply chain issues. Luckily I already have matcha powder at home, and bought more in case this becomes a nationwide toilet paper crisis. Still, it’s not the same as getting it at Starbucks. Like making your own salad vs. a restaurant; not the same. Please respect my privacy during this difficult time. (more…)

Happy Friday and happy Halloween! Are you dressing up for Halloween this year? I will not dressing up…..unless I get invited last minute to a party. For me personally, I think it’s fun to dress up in a costume, especially for a party, but I don’t particularly feel the need to. It’s not really my thing but I will do it and have fun. And when I do dress up it’s mostly generic costumes like a witch where I already have a black dress or a girl scout and I can wear my old vest. I think I have only purchased a costume twice in my adult life. Actually I enjoy making my own costume. One year I went as a Tiffany’s box and had more fun crafting the costume than wearing it — wearing a box in a bar is not easy. Anyway, I may not be dressing up for Halloween but I sure do enjoy seeing all of my friend’s kids, and my nieces, dressed up! Kids dressed up as Ted Lasso is perhaps my favorite costume I have seen. It’s funny and so cute!! (more…)

Happy Friday! Are you still feeling the effects of Mercury in retrograde? To be honest I do not fully understand what it means, and have never felt anything when people talk about it. However, this time around I felt it and am still feeling the aftermath days after it ended. After googling, I found it’s called the “shadow period”; it can linger for weeks prior and after Mercury retrograde. Sounds fun. Obviously nothing earth shattering has happened, just your typical Mercury retrograde affecting my technology and a few miscommunications with work. Hopefully the lingering shadow period will end soon for me. (more…)
