After a year of wearing athleisure and sweats, it’s no wonder my favorite outfits of 2020 are dressier. Outfits that are mostly worn for a special occasion or a night out, instead of an everyday style. Some items were worn pre-pandemic, and others were bought in hopes for better days. Happy Friday! One more week until Christmas! I have finally finished all of my shopping, but still have wrapping to do. I have to admit that I am not the best at wrapping gifts. No matter how careful or focused I am, it somehow always comes out looking terrible. I guess I wasn’t born with the skills to wrap presents. My dad, however, has the wrapping paper thumb and makes every present look impeccable. (more…)

Happy Friday and happy Evermore day! Did you stay up past midnight to download Taylor Swift’s new album? I did not but purchased it on Apple Music the second I woke up without hearing a single note. As a T.Swift fan, I knew I would love it and I was correct. I have been spending most of the day listening to the album on repeat. I am not sure if I like it better than Folklore, the jury is still out. I think Folklore may be better. But Evermore is still a great album. So far my favorite songs are Willow (my #1 fav), Champagne Problems, Happiness, Tolerate It, Marjorie, and Long Story Short. Ok, I love the entire album! (more…)

Happy Friday!! There is snow on the ground, garland around the fireplace, and lights hanging on every home. It’s finally the holiday season! As someone who loves Christmas, it’s been a little hard to get into the spirit of things. Without holiday parties, church on Christmas Eve, The Nutcracker, and other festivities, it took some time to get into the merriment of it all. But if I’ve learned anything from hours upon hours of watching Hallmark movies, Christmas is much more than carols and gifts, it’s about family, love, and joy. I am counting my blessings this holiday season and enjoying what I can with what I have and with whom. (more…)
