When I was little, my sister and I loved to pull out our parent’s croquet set and play. Neither one of us really knew how to play or kept score, we enjoyed trying to hit our designated color ball through the wickets. Our croquet set originally belonged to my grandparents. I would guess it is about 50 years old, and still in (somewhat) great shape. I have a lot of fond memories of playing croquet with my sister, and my parents. 4th of July Outfits

It’s time to pull out our red, white, and blue attire because the Fourth of July is only 2 weeks away! We all know that this year celebrating the Fourth is going to be very different than the past. Some cities are canceling their parades and firework displays, and our party celebrations will be much smaller. I wish I could be here in Ohio celebrating with my family, because no one does Independence Day better than Upper Arlington, but I must head back to the city. I will be back in NYC for the Fourth and I assume not doing much of anything. Maybe I will end up getting together with a few friends, find somewhere safe, and socially distant to watch the Macy’s Firework display. I would like to go to the Hamptons but I am not comfortable yet with public transportation. Happy Friday! I am soaking up every moment I have left here in Columbus before I return to NYC. It’s a bittersweet feeling. I have loved being home these past few months, spending time with my parents. I am really going to miss them! But I must return to my life. I am eager to get back to my apartment, walk around my favorite neighborhoods, and hopefully see my friends soon.

Today is the launch of the Sail to Sable x Style Charade capsule collection! Two of my favorites coming together to create such a beautiful line of dresses for the summer! Sail to Sable, for those of you who may not be familiar, is a resort wear brand based out of Connecticut. With a nautical vibe, classic design, and feminine detailing, Sail to Sable offers staple pieces for women of all ages. So I was very excited to hear that they partnered with one of my favorite people!  Jennifer Lake, of Chicago-based blog Style Charade, is the most kind-hearted person and I am happy to call her a friend. She truly amazes me with her work ethic and eye for making bright colors and prints work seamlessly together. She deserves all of the wonderful things in life, which is why I am thrilled she partnered with a brand that showcases her style.
