“let your life be your art”

Happy Friday!! I flew home to Columbus yesterday for a long holiday break. I am happy to be home, spending time with my family and can’t wait to see my friends. But I am most excited about seeing my niece’s excitement for Christmas. She is already going around the house saying Ho Ho Ho. I’ve never had the opportunity, being the youngest of my entire family, to see the holiday through a child’s eyes. It really reminds you how excited you were as a kid that Santa was coming.

“It will come when your heart is ready to carry it”

Happy Friday! TGIF because today is not my day. Apparently it is ok to do construction and drill at 3am in NYC. It kept me up all night long; well that and the fact they turned off the water to my building for the construction. I had a photoshoot this morning and spent all last night worried that I wouldn’t be able to shower before the shoot (it turned back on and I got to shower). I barely slept last night. Then during my shoot there was deodorant on my pants (HOW did that happen?), smeared lipstick, mascara in my hair, accidentally left my garment bag full of clothes at one location (got it back), and my favorite part, was hit by a revolving door– too embarrassed to tell.  This is all minor occurrences that I lived through to tell the tale. I am excited to see what other incidents can happen to me today. Life is fun some times.

christmas list

Dear Santa…

As a kid I used to tear through magazines highlighting what I wanted. Now as an adult I seem to scramble on what I want. I can easily buy the things for myself and I have everything I need in life. Of course what I really want Santa to bring me can’t fit under a tree. Although he did get Susan Walker a house in Miracle on 34th Street, so maybe he will work some extra magic this year for me. I will let Santa handle my Hallmark movie ending and leave the rest of the items to my family. Here is my Christmas list this year.
