Happy Friday!! What a fun week it has been! All I can talk about is the Met Gala. Was it the best? No, but at least there was one. All I care about is that I get to talk about fashion, good or bad. Happy Friday and happy Labor Day Weekend! September really took me by surprised. All of a sudden it showed up and I wasn’t prepared. And with the changing of the month came colder temperatures, which I welcome. However, I am not ready to say goodbye to summer and my dresses just yet. There are many reasons why I love what I do and one of those reasons is curating looks for you to shop. Whether you are going on vacation, working 9 to 5, lounging around the house or getting your sweat on, I like to find outfits for you to wear. When Modatrova reached out to me to become one of their Tastemakers, I didn’t hesitate to say yes! Tennis attire has been around for ages, it’s nothing new to the sport itself and to the fashion world. But now there is a new term coined for the aesthetic, tenniscore. Just like cottagecore that is so wildly popular on social media. According to Instagram data, the term tenniscore has doubled in searches over the past few months. Whether you play or not, it’s trendy to wear tennis attire while you run around town. Some attire can be functional, while others take on more of an athleisure feel to it. You can also go a step above with tennis accessories like socks and a water bottle. Perhaps place these cute embroidered cocktail napkins out for your US Open party.
