Pull out your sweaters, pick apples from a tree, and sip on a hot beverage because it is officially fall! Although the weather does not quite permit heavy layers and boots, I am starting to formulate my fall seasonal wardrobe. Booties are the number one sought after item for the fall. Right now I am wearing my booties with dresses and skirts for a more transitional look. Last year I bought these white booties – which I have been coveting for a long time- and have worn them with almost every outfit during the fall, winter, and spring seasons. This season I am looking for a tan or brown bootie. Here are a few booties I have gathered to shop for the crisp fall.

If you are a summer girl at heart like I am, then you dread the end of the sunshine season. However, with the changing of the season, brands are rolling out their summer collection for fall pieces. This means that summer collections are currently on sale! This is the best time to grab the item(s) you have been eyeing all season long. The good news is that the dog days of summer are not over and you will have plenty of time to wear your cute new outfit. fall pieces

Fall is quickly approaching and I am starting to shop for transitional pieces. Items that I can wear during the warmer fall days into the crisp evenings. Since we will still be quarantined, I want to buy transitional fall pieces that are comfortable yet can be worn around town. I love a good romper or a dress you can throw on for a day to night look. Light sweaters that can be thrown over any outfit when you are cold or simply paired with a flowy skirt. And accessories to elevate your casual outfit of the day. Here are a few must-have transitional fall pieces I have on my radar.

4th of July Outfits

 

It’s time to pull out our red, white, and blue attire because the Fourth of July is only 2 weeks away! We all know that this year celebrating the Fourth is going to be very different than the past. Some cities are canceling their parades and firework displays, and our party celebrations will be much smaller. I wish I could be here in Ohio celebrating with my family, because no one does Independence Day better than Upper Arlington, but I must head back to the city. I will be back in NYC for the Fourth and I assume not doing much of anything. Maybe I will end up getting together with a few friends, find somewhere safe, and socially distant to watch the Macy’s Firework display. I would like to go to the Hamptons but I am not comfortable yet with public transportation. Although I am do not have current plans to celebrate the Fourth I still want be festive by dressing up for the holiday.  Here are a few outfit ideas to celebrate red, white, and BOOM!
