One of the best parts about living in New York is all of the amazing restaurants that are just a hop, skip, and a jump away. It is easy to get together with friends for dinner and drinks on any given night. I am always trying to get together with a friend or two each week to either try a new restaurant or return to an old favorite.

Time to start putting out your festive holiday decor! I know Thanksgiving is next week and you probably have your T-Day decor out, but it does not hurt to start buying new Christmas decorations. Christmas is my favorite holiday and I can’t wait to start seeing all of the decorations out in store fronts, lights on the trees, holiday music playing everywhere….. it is truly the best time of the year!
Now that the weather is getting colder, it is finally time to pull out our dark colored clothing. Burgundy is a nice alternative to black if you are wanting to wear a deeper palette. It is a color I unfortunately do not currently have in my closet, but this fall season I have really gravitated towards. Burgundy is a great neutral that will go well with other fall colors like green, camel, mustard, and black. You can even wear it as a monochromatic look, which I adore. Right now I have my eye on this overcoat, these pants, this hat, and this sweater.… honestly I want it all!! Two of the things I love most in life are ruffles and turtlenecks. Separate they make a statement, but together they will change your world.. or at least your day. How could I not have a grand ole day when wearing this ruffle turtleneck?! It says I may be a modest dresser but I still enjoy a shindig or two. I know turtlenecks can get a bad rep for being conservative but I personally think they are trés chic. An item every woman should have in her closet.
