J.Crew’s Spring Show ’17 was held this past Sunday during Fashion Week. And like many of you I kept refreshing my Instagram for updates and sneak peeks at the spring collection. J.Crew is one brand that I always look forward to seeing during Fashion Week. Not only because it is my favorite brand, but because I love how natural the models look and how they are perfectly styled. One thing they did this year that I really admire is using real people to model the collection–staffers, family, and friends in different race, age and size. Real people wearing real clothes, just like you and me.

It is no secret my love for feminine pieces. My style ranges from girly and romantic to classic and polished. I love finding simple items with a feminine detail such as a ruffle or a bow. It is nice to see strong feminine pieces being reintroduce these past few seasons and it looks as though it is a trend that is, thankfully, not dying down. But for me, no matter what the trends are, I will always buy pieces that make me feel strong, confident, and feminine.
