This past weekend I traveled to D.C. for a little girls trip with my Mom. Both of us have been to D.C. before but it has been a few years since our last visit. We stayed at this super cute hotel called Avenue Suites located in Georgetown. It was the perfect location as neither one of us have ever been to Georgetown. Our trips to D.C. were strictly historical. I was so excited to experience Georgetown as I have always heard it is a cute town!

We landed in D.C. Friday afternoon. Immediately upon arrival we set out to walk around Georgetown and shop. I was surprise how busy the town is—felt like I was in New York! We visited the Barbour store because my mom has never been to one before, and we stopped by  Tuckernuck. I was SO excited to shop there because it is one of my favorite online retailers and I believe, correct me if I am wrong, they only have one shop? I ended up buying these new suede leggings and LOVE them! SO cute! I will wear them a lot this fall/winter.  I was a little bummed that they did not have the gold hammered earrings because they are out of stock online. Keeping my fingers crossed they will return.

Anyway, we walked all around town and went in and out of stores, had an afternoon macaron snack, and walked along the Potomac river. For dinner we ate at Farmers Fishers Bakers, which was so good! The restaurant was highly suggested by a lot of you, so thank you for that! After dinner we went back to the hotel and hung out for a little bit at the A Bar + Kitchen-– the hotels bar. They have the cutest patio with cozy seats and a few fire pits. We ended up roasting s’mores followed by watching a moving in our hotel room. It was the perfect ending to the day.
