As more and more of my friends have little peanuts, I am starting to become pretty envious of children’s clothing. When I worked for J.Crew I would walk through Crewcuts whimpering, “does this come in my size?”. Unfortunately no, no it does not. Kids these days are so darn chic and lucky. They have the most darling clothes ever! Honestly, where was Kate Spade for Gap and Crewcuts when I was growing up? I am not sure where my parents bought my clothes as a child, but I do remember being able to dress myself; mixing prints with patterns, and wearing dresses and leggings only. I would have ravished in such joy and happiness at these stores. Life is not always fair, but at least I now have cute little friends to shop for.
