Breaking the rules with this all white attire. Whatever, rules are made to be broken. Anyway, I was tired of wearing all black and wanted a more cheerful look, and this instantly put me in a happier mood! The classic, minimalist look is really refreshing to wear. In the winter if I do not want to wear such dark colors, my options for a brighter attire usually is a pattern of some sort. An all white ensemble is the right amount of fresh air.
Although my jeans are tailored for spring/summertime, this big chunky sweater (which also comes in navy) makes it acceptable for winter. I have worn this sweater to brunch, out to dinner, and lounging around the house. It is heavy enough for cold days, but light enough that I can wear it through spring. My boots (similar) is really what ties the outfit together, making it seasonal. If I had worn my Jack Rogers, the entire look would be perfect for a day of boating. So breaking news: you can wear white all year round!
Love, love, love my
Gigi New York clutch! I use it all the time. It is the perfect size and really goes with everything! I love the neutral look of mine, but wouldn’t mind getting another one with a more vibrant color.
I haven’t met a pearl accessory I didn’t like. Whether it is earrings, a necklace or a bracelet, I am always wearing pearls. This either makes my style classic or like a grandma, I don’t care.. I love it!
My necklace is one that I have worn over and over again. It’s a great statement necklace, but not over the top.
Are you a rule breaker and wear white after labor day and throughout winter?
It is not something that I normally wear in the past, but have definitely become a big fan of it. I will now incorporate it more into my winter wardrobe!
