Since yesterday was National Ice Cream Day, it only feels right to share pictures of my ice cream adventure to Jeni’s Ice-cream in the Short North. Jeni’s hasn’t had the best summer, so I was lucky to get a taste of their yummy ice cream at least once this summer!
Now that I have made all of you crave ice cream, can we talk about how amazing this dress is? Another goodie from Ann Taylor also seen here! I get so many compliments on it when I wear it!
It is perfect to run around the town during the day, for a luncheon and for an evening cookout. I paired it with my new favorite sandals from Sole Society (I know the brown color is currently sold out, but keep an eye on it for returns). I can easily pair this with heels or espadrilles to dress it up. What I love most about this dress, besides the pockets, is how full and feminine the skirt is. It does have a little bit of the “tulip” structure to it, but lays a little flatter than most. A true A-line dress that really flatters the waistline. This dress will truly stand the test of time. It is something my mother would wear now and when she was my age. I really recommend looking through Ann Taylor’s summer dress collection, they really have some great pieces!
