Every time the calendar changes to the fall I automatically think the weather should be colder, but that isn’t always the case.  During the fall season I feel it is a little difficult to find dresses to wear. The material is either too heavy when the weather isn’t cold enough to wear it, or the material is too light making it feel like a summer dress. So when I come across a dress that is perfect for the season, I have to have it.

This dress from Michael Kors, with the hunter green color (also comes in khaki) and gold accents, is perfect for transitioning into colder weather. I almost bought the khaki color, but am so glad I decided on the hunter green (or duffle as they are calling it). It is a color I am not usually drawn to, but for some reason found this to be beautiful. The material is thick, but not heavy, cotton that does not make me feel as if I am trying to stretch out my summer wardrobe. I love how the belt accentuates the waistline. This look is not only sharp, but feminine.

For this look I paired it with high heel sandals, but could easily pair it with leopard heels as the season changes. My purse I will wear all year round. The mini tote size is just right  as I barely carry anything around with me. My sunglasses are new to my collection and I am mad about them! They are a dark tortoise with a gold outline, making it a little retro with a soft feminine look.
