J.Crew has been in the news a lot lately, and it hasn’t been the best of news for the beloved brand. I am very much an avid J.Crew shopper. I have lived, breathed, and dreamed about their clothes since I was in High School, but the past few seasons I have been less than enthusiastic. I would buy items here and there, but I wasn’t tearing through the Style Guide as much as I used to. Something they are well aware of and have made it known that they are working to bring back J.Crew to its original roots. Well I am SO happy to say that their new fall line is looking like the old J.Crew we know, love, and want back!
There are some minor changes that has made a huge difference, like the gold buttons on the classic Jackie Cardigan. The Jackie pairs nicely with this shell top for a timeless look–the gold buttons make the classic look more modern. I recently bought this cape and am itching to wear it! Throw it over this turtleneck, on top of these pants, paired with these booties, for a chic fall everyday look. This shirt paired with this skirt or this vest will help you transition into the season nicely. To add a little style to your fall wardrobe or you are not ready to fully plunge into darker colors quite yet, this skirt is for you!
