When it comes to beauty products, I stay pretty true to my favorite products. I have sensitive, acne prone, combination skin so once I find something that I love, it is game over. I will stay faithful to it. It took a lot of tears trial and error to find these products, so I wanted to share with you products that I can’t live without.
Our skin during the day needs a different moisturizer than at night. Our skin is repairing it’s self while we sleep, so our skin absorbs better at night and needs a deeper moisturizer (aka our skin is thirsty). I used to wake up and my face would feel tight and dry. This Ultra Repair Firm Sleeping Cream keeps my skin hydrated all night long.
I want to marry these facial masks! I try to do one once a week. It is so important to me to keep my skin fresh and nourished, and these masks works wonders. It never irritates or dries out. I do different ones so I know I am getting different results. And the good news is that they are really affordable!
The moisturizer to end all moisturizer’s, the Aveeno Clear Complexion has worked wonders on my combination, sensitive, acne prone skin. I use so much lotion that I might as well start drinking it. This lotion is the only product that not only leaves my face moisturized, it does not dry out or make my skin feel oily. I have also noticed less breakouts since starting to use it (yay!).
I have tried other cleansing towelettes and they irritated my skin! Neutrogena’s make-up remover works beautifully with my skin type. I could use it all day and not feel dry or irritated. To me, it is so important to use these when you get home at night–before washing your face. It gets all of the dirt and make-up off of your skin that you have accumulated. This is probably the only product that I can honest say I will never use another brand.
When it comes to make-up, mascara is the only thing that I wear daily. This past fall I was gifted Mascara Physicians Formula in a goodie bag and decided to give it a try. I was religiously using another brand of mascara and didn’t feel the need to change, but thought to give it a go one day. I am really glad I tried it! I already have long lashes to begin with, but this mascara is slightly curved and it gives my lashes a curl–I hardly ever use my curler anymore!
