First, on a non-related topic, can we talk about Game of Thrones premiere last night? Holy moly! It was good. The ending… what the hhheeeeck? I won’t give any spoilers incase you have not seen it yet, but it did not disappoint!
Anyway…..
Over the weekend I attended the Athletic Club’s Spring Fling that was themed “Havana Nights”. It was so much fun! I had one too many mojitos and woke up with one havana of headache. It was worth it! I had a blast catching up with friends and dancing the night away to the band. So much fun! To the event I wore an old Lilly Pulitzer dress of mine, which has floral and lace accents. Felt it was theme appropriate. A lot of people were dressed in flowy floral skirts or dresses. A perfect spring night it was.
Floral is a pattern I do not shy away from and one that I will continue to purchase in the future. Wearing a dress or a shirt that is floral always makes me feel feminine and girly. It can be bold and bright or soft and whimsical. The print is no stranger to the spring season and one we will forever see year after year.
