How was your Memorial Day Weekend? I, unfortunately, was sick the entire weekend. Thursday night I went to a Mexican restaurant and asked the waiter for corn tortillas, because it is gluten free. Well he gave me flour tortillas. I didn’t realize until I got sick. I was sick from Thursday night to Sunday night. Not. Fun. There was some major fomo happening while I looked through social media and saw everyone’s fun filled weekend. I did get to enjoy the beautiful weather we had yesterday when I finally felt better. I went on a bike ride with my dad, sat outside in the sun for a while, and celebrated Memorial Day with a cookout at my parents house. So it turned out to be a good weekend!
To me, MDW marks the beginning of summer. And boy am I glad to see you summer! Sunshine, bike rides, the pool… I could go on. Out of all the exciting things that summer brings, I am, of course, most excited for summer attire. One of my favorite outfits that is going to be on repeat this season is this ruffled romper. Lets just say it was love at first sight. The ruffle sleeves caught my eye immediately–there was no hesitation in purchasing it. I also love that it has a little bit of an a-line structure. The bottom is a little loose and is fitted around the waistline. I paired it with my new wedge heels, but could easily wear it with flats.
