A little wind does not stop me from wearing the perfect outfit…. so. windy!
What do you call when you put two of your favorite pieces together? The perfect outfit of course! If you haven’t noticed I am all about the off the shoulder look right now. It has become a little bit of an obsession of mine to the point that I have to force myself to stop shopping only off the shoulder items. I mean, can you blame me? They are amazing! And this silk top just had to be mine! The only hesitation in getting it was I thought it would be a little too short in the front, more of a crop top look which I am not into at all. Luckily it is long enough that it does cover my stomach—we can all breath a little easier now. Side note: I also found it here and in different colors!! When wearing the top I make sure that I pair it with high waisted bottoms like this denim skirt. Remember my confession about my feelings with denim? Well this skirt breaks the mold. The fabric is a little stretchy and is comfortable to wear. To my surprise, I absolutely love it! To be honest when denim skirts started coming popular again, I was having flashbacks of the early 00’s. It wasn’t pretty folks. But I bought it anyway because I knew it was one of the pieces that I had to try on before making a decision. I was loving how J.Crew was styling it, making it, of course, super stylish and chic. I mean what piece of item can J.Crew not make look fabulous? Anyway, now that I have tried it on, I love it! There are so many cute tops that I want to pair with it, get one if you know what’s good for you 😉
