Baby-Girl

On Friday I mentioned in my post (here) that we were throwing a gender reveal party for my sister and brother-in-law. Well…… IT’S A GIRL!!!!! Going into the party I was convinced they were having a boy because my sister and I always joked that she was destined to have all boys. Well we are proven wrong. I am SO SO SO SO exited she is having a girl; ballet classes, little bows, cute clothes, headbands, boy bands, fashion, pink…. I could go on. They have picked out a name– a family name– but as of now I am not allowed to tell (cue me rolling my eyes).

No offense to boys, but it is much more fun as an aunt to shop for girls.  I am already filling my online shopping bags with cute baby girl clothes. I got overly excited about shopping for baby clothes that I started to hyperventilate……I want to buy everything that I see. Buying baby clothes is a whole new genre for me. I try not to buy my friend’s baby clothes because everyone has their own style and knowing the baby is only going to wear the one-piece or sweater for 3 months, I rather invest in something more sustainable. But for my little niece, the limit does not exit. I will be showering her with cute bows and little hats, and I am dying to buy her one-pieces. Oh and how cute is this little jacket and bunny shirt? It never ends…. I hope she never grows up.

My niece is due in the beginning of January and I can not wait to meet my new best friend!

If you have any advice on being an aunt, PLEASE share, this is my first time!
