This past Monday night I attended the Yelp Columbus phony rehearsal dinner event at Bleu & Fig. The event called for a casual, yet cute attire so I decided to wear the classic look of a turtleneck and corduroy skirt combination. You can’t get more timeless than this duo. I am a huge fan of wearing turtlenecks throughout winter and fall. I always find them to be chic and easy to style.

The phony rehearsal dinner at Bleu & Fig was amazing! If you didn’t catch my overly-exsesssive amounts of snaps from Snapchat (@mtate24), the night was low-key yet elegant. We started off with having drinks by the bar while mingling and eyeing the delicious food. The food, my goodness, it was so good! There were brussels sprouts (win!), candied bacon, beef and squash skewers, farro and beet salad, sweet potato chips, and more. Then for dessert we had a choice of either a chocolate chip cookie or a caramel apple milk shake. While we were having dessert #Hashtag Comedy performed a short improvisational skit—what about? Pretending it was a couples rehearsal dinner!
Bryant, who is the (always cheerful) guy behind Yelp Columbus, organized the event and did an incredible job! I have never been to Bleu & Fig before and really enjoyed their cute little boutique space. Bleu & Fig is an event boutique where you can have dinner parties, events, have them catered food to your next at home party, and they even do floral arrangements. If I was staying in Columbus I would for sure use them for an event–especially if they remake the caramel apple milkshake!
