Have you ever had an item that you have been coveting over for years? Something that you know is in your reach (affordable), yet for some reason you have not pulled the trigger into buying it? Well this coat is the item that I have been longing for for years.
I first saw this coat about a little over 4 maybe 5 years ago. My co-worker owned it and I instantly feel in love. I thought it was so chic– a winter coat that looked nice enough to wear out and not feel like the abominable snowman. Since my co-worker owned it I thought, to be honest, it would be weird to also purchase it–like hey I copied you! But I wanted to copy her, I loved the coat so much! Fast forward to present day and I have not worked with her for years, nor have I seen her… so…. all is fair and all is right with the world. I own the coat and I am in love. I wear it all of the time and get so many compliments. I wear the hood over my shoulders (seen above) and also bunched up around my neck for when it gets windy. Since the closure is just the belt, I was worried it would annoy me, but if you double knot it it will stay.
It was worth the wait to buy this coat and I am so happy I finally decided to get it!
