“one day or day one. you decide”
Happy Friday!! I am in Atlanta for the weekend visiting my sister, brother-in-law and their new baby girl– my parents are here too, so it is a full house. I am obsessed with my niece already–she cries a lot but is so cute I don’t care. She is also pretty strong for only being a week old. She holds her own pacifier and if you are holding her arms she stands up by herself– no joke! My weekend will consist of just staring at this beautiful little girl.
Last weekend I attended ModelFIT’s first Wellness Series workshop. It was exactly what I needed. We shared about what we are trying to release and what we want to manifest into our lives, how important it is to heal our guts, different happiness hormones, breathing techniques and meditation. I am very much into wellness and holistic nutrition, and have been reading a lot of books on meditation and law of attraction/source energy. It is all very interesting! I am going to their next workshop about openness, they are serving chocolate— I signed up the second I heard chocolate.
Other than my cute niece and being a health guru, I have been working on getting ready for NYFW and tried Orange Theory. OT was a great workout! I loved it! Orange Theory is when you wear a heart monitor and you spend half the class doing intervals on the treadmill then the other half doing weight circuits. I burned over 600 calories…. yeah I will be going back. It was a great change from my pilates/boxing/smaller weight training routine. My only compliant is I wish there was more room during the weight portion of the class and I wanted more weight movements rather than cardio. I did get a good weight training workout at Liftonic. It is strictly weight training that you would do at the gym. I loved it!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend
