“you are the only one who can limit your greatness”
Happy Friday! After a long weekend with my family in Atlanta, I have spent this week catching up on emails and listening to the La La Land soundtrack on repeat. It is SO good! My favorite song is “Another Day Of Sun”, it puts me in such a great mood!
Lately I have been listening to The Lively Show podcast by Jess Lively. I used to listen to her a lot a few years ago but sorta stopped as her topics did not really resonate with me. I still receive her newsletter but never read them. Well for some reason last week I decided to read one of her newsletters and saw that she has been speaking about the law of attraction, energy, mindfulness, intuitive vs ego– which is something that I have been interested in learning recently. So I started to listen to her podcast again. What I like about her point of view on this topic is that she tackles it from all different angles– spirituality, woo-woo fantasy, and scientific. I don’t necessarily believe in the woo-woo stuff–although I think it is fun to dab into/hear– for example I don’t believe if you concentrate really hard a million dollar check is going to arrive in the mail. I believe more that positive thinking/emotion radiates your energy at a high vibration which attracts like-minded vibrations– i.e. more good comes into your life. It is all very interesting. Last night Jess hosted a Fire Side Chat webinar where we discussed this topic and people had the chance to ask questions. It was, for the most part, interesting to hear other people’s questions and have my own answered.
This weekend I am going to a workshop with bSmart Guide and Lululemon. The workshop is about setting goals/intentions for yourself. Meagan, the founder of bSmart Guide was in my committee at the Junior League. bSmart Guide is a platform for entrepreneurial/business women to have a home base for support, advice, ideas. I think this workshop is going to be very inspiring and beneficial.
Other than my self help quest, I will be working out and meeting up with friends for a few drinks.
Have a wonderful weekend xo

You’re right. That floral dress IS so cute! I love the black outline which makes it easy to wear with black tights in winter.
