Happy Friday!! I have some exciting news……… I got a job! Yay! I am working for a fitness studio here in New York. So what does this mean for my blog? I am still going to give it 110% percent. I started my new position this past week and am currently trying to figure out my strategy on both work and blog life. I think I have it figured out, but it means more work on the weekends– which is totally fine with me. I love doing this blog and have no plans on stopping anytime soon!  I do not have to be at the office everyday so there will still be plenty of time for me to have meetings for my blog, write posst, and create content with my photographer. Getting a second job I needed because, well, mama wants to buy clothes , shoes, and handbags and wants to travel, and I have been told that money does not grow on trees. Insert solution: second job. Yay for living in NYC………

Speaking of work/life balance, summer events are starting to fill my calendar and I couldn’t be more excited about it! I have two events this week. One was last night at the Deux Lux studio along with CAPSUL, and KACEY/SHANA.  I went with my friend Sam, from The New York Blonde. She is one of my blogging besties here in NYC. The event was fun as we got a sneak preview of their summer and fall collection while we sipped on champagne and yummy cocktails. This cutch bow clutch (in ivory) is coming my way and you can be sure to see it on the blog soon!

Tonight I am heading to the Kiehl’s with Art Production Fund event at SAKS Fifth Avenue. I am pretty excited for the event. We will get to see the unveiling of the art installation Seated Ballerina by Jeff Koons. The installation is in honor of The International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children. This is a cause I care pretty deeply about, so I am happy to do my part in raising awareness. No child should be taken from their parent and/or exploited in any kind of inappropriate way. It really breaks my heart that this happens and how often.

On a brighter note, next week I have two events with my friends at Crowns by Christy. One is with Six Degrees Society and Neely + Chloe, where we are networking, shopping, and making flower crowns. Going to be SO much fun!! The other event with Christy and the gang is a photoshoot/ kick off to summer event. Another fun one!

Besides my blogging life I am working out—- I slept in by accident this morning and missed my workout with Body Conceptions. I am pretty upset about it as I hate being irresponsible. Plus it was a special event for FIT Week NYC. I know it is not the end of the world and there are more important things going on than this, but I really hate missing a workout. Especially when it is a special event and the instructor personally emailed me to come.  On the bright side I got to sleep, so yay for that! Maybe I needed sleep more than working out.

So besides kicking myself for not being adult enough to wake up when the alarm goes off, I will be enjoying the weekend with friends– hopefully on a rooftop with a glass of rosé in hand.

Have a wonderful weekend XO
