You may have been wondering why I always wear sunglasses in my pictures. The reason is because I have sensitive eyes. I am like vampire, but instead of the outdoors making my skin sparkle, it causes my eyes to water. No doubt I will start to cry. Yes, the wind and the bright sun cause my blue eyes to cry. And then people start to stare and it gets all weird and uncomfortable. So my choices are to either wear sunglasses in every photo or have every picture be of me crying— and this is not that kind of blog.
Another reason why I, and so many other bloggers, wear sunglasses during photoshoots is for the efficient picture taking and editing. You can have the perfect shot but your eyes look drunk. Wearing sunglasses mask whether or not my eyes are truly open or bloodshot.
My face, I like to say, is a mix between a cabbage patch kid and a puppy dog. Buying sunglasses can break a girl’s heart when she truly wants the cute and trendy round ones. Over the weekend my friend was wearing them and she looked so cool and stylish, I of course had to try it on. It was sadly a unison no from my friends. I guess I’ll stick to my trusty shades. My signature sunglasses (shown above) from Tory Burch compliments my face nicely– that is why I always wear them. But as much as I love them, I want to get a little bit more fashionable with my choice of shades for different outfits. I am not sure if I want cat-eyes, chic black, trendy gold, or girly pink. Here are my top 6 choices.
1. Le Specs half moon magic sunglasses
2. Sunday Somewhere x Rebecca Taylor isabel sunglasses
3. Ray-Ban round metal sunglasses
5. Gentle Monster love punch aviator sunglasses
6. Tory Burch metal cat-eye sunglasses
