Happy Friday, happy Labor Day weekend, and happiest of birthdays to my mom!!! As you may have read from my past post here, that I am having a staycation this weekend since I was just in Charleston and NYFW is this coming week. I need to regroup, have a little r&r, and get ready for the madness that is about to ensue. I can’t wait!!!!
Last weekend I celebrated my birthday here in NYC at The Crown with my friends. The Crown is a new(ish) rooftop bar in Chinatown. It has amazing views of the city. The perfect way to end my birthday week, celebrating with some of my best friends in NYC. I love having my worlds collide– blogging, roommates, friends, and high school friends all meeting. A few of my high school guy friends showed up and the second I saw them, I felt so grateful. Having people there from home was exactly what I needed. It felt like old times just joking around, talking about life. It was perfect.
This past week went so fast! I feel like I have barely accomplished anything, yet did a lot. Spent a lot of time in coffee shops working. There is going to be a new B&B look coming very soon! I am so, so, so excited about it! I think you all will like it too! Also this past week I went to Body by Simone almost everyday. I even did a double Thursday morning, then died. Monday I went and somehow found myself next to two Victoria Secret models…. nothing says welcome back from a binge eating vacation and my birthday than jumping around next to models. At least it was motivating me to work harder…… must.not.eat.cupcakes.
As I mentioned I am having a relaxing weekend. I am truly ok with not going out since NYFW is event after show after event after show. I need to save up energy. Maybe I will go see a movie…. I know I will workout, go shopping for more NYFW outfits, run errands, probably give myself a spa treatment. I am trying to go to the US Open, right now I am planning on going either Sunday or Monday.
