Happy Friday!! This past week was fantastic. I am whistling a tune with a pep in my step. It started on Monday when I got to see my friend Beth perform in Chicago the Musical. To say she was beyond amazing would be an understatement. She was truly mind-blowingingly good! I felt like a proud mom. To top off the evening, I purchased discount tickets through Theatermania so I could have a better seat. I didn’t get to pick my seat but somehow ended up front row in the center section. Ahhh to see the show that close up, I felt like I was in it!! I had the biggest smile on my face and was probably really distractive to the performers as I can’t help but sing and dance in my seat…. not sorry. Then Beth kindly took me and two other girls (who I know and randomly sat next to) back stage and on set. The little girl in me who wanted to be on Broadway is really happy right now!! Ever since then I have been pretending to be on Broadway all week by singing and dancing in my apartment while listening to show tunes. I have even won a Tony award. Thank you, thank you so much….

Chicago is one of my favorite broadway shows. I love the old school Fosse choreography, the catchy music, the chic, sassy, and sexy costumes, every part of it. I haven’t seen Chicago on Broadway in almost 15 years I would say, so it was great to see it again and to see my friend perform in it. Truly was a surreal moment!

Other than my Broadway debut, I went to the Nordstrom Holiday Preview on Wednesday night. I can’t believe the Holidays are already here! The preview was to showcase what special and exclusive offers Nordstrom will have during the season. It is nice to know what will be a top seller or a great gift while making my gift guides, makes my life easier. Thursday night I went to the Marie Claire x Maje event at Bloomingdales. Adrienne Faurote, Editor at Marie Claire, spoke about Maje’s new line and how to style it. The evening was nice and I met a lot of great people!

Today is my dooms day as I am trying Dogpound for the first time. I am excited, but also a bit scared. I know I will be fine and will most likely love it, but know it is an intense workout. If I do not die then tonight I am attending a farewell party for my friend who is moving to LA on Sunday, and tomorrow I am celebrating another friend’s birthday!
