“Two hearts in love need no words”

Marceline Desbordes-Valmore

Happy Friday!! I have had a truly amazing week! I have been busy running from place to place but it has been lots of fun and a little stressful at times. I love this time of year when everyone is having holiday parties and I get to dress up in festive outfits, drink champagne, and spend time with friends. This is the most wonderful time of the year! My favorite time of the year!

Last Monday I went to the Instyle event at the Rock & Reilly’s bar located at the Renaissance Hotel on the west side.  Instyle partnered with a few brands like Eddie Bauer, Speck, Maybelline, and more for a small holiday party. The entire room was decorated as if we were in a cozy-chic cabin. I went with Ashley my blogging (and real life) BFF. Lots of my blogging friends were there actually; it was nice to catch up with a few of them. I also was fortunate to  met some other influencers, which was nice! The entire evening was fun with lots of things to do– they had specialty drinks, a photo booth, a camping tent with fake fire on the patio, and a chocolate fondue station.

Tuesday night I went to see The Rockettes Christmas Spectacular! I have seen the performance before but no matter how many times I see it, I always feel like a little kid.  A few of my friends are Rockettes, I was like a proud parent watching them from the audience. Afterwards they took me backstage of Radio City Music Hall which was amazing. I got to see the original controllers as well as the props and costumes. It was a cool experience! As much as the performance was amazing, I have to say my favorite part of the evening was during the Nativity scene when King Balthazar brings baby Jesus a present. When the narrator said the king’s name a kid turned to his mom and goes “(gasp) like the restaurant!”…. #NYCKIDS.

The next day was just as magical as the night before. I was fortunate enough to have been invited as one of 8 bloggers to attend a Nicole Miller event. The day started off with pastries and yummy juices with a side of styling at the Nicole Miller office in mid-town. We each got to pick out our own outfits for the day ( we got to keep it!) and had a mini-photoshoot. What they are going to do with the photos I don’t know, but it was fun to pretend to be a model for the brand. After the photo session we hopped into an Uber and went all the way out to Long Island for an event at a small boutique called Ray Leventhal. This boutique is one of Nicole Miller’s top selling boutiques so it was nice to attend their event and watch some of the women style their clients who just adore the brand.  Nicole was there herself!! I loved chit-chatting and hanging to with her.  It was really an amazing experience; definitely a top pinch-me moment of my blogging career.

This weekend I have two events: one is with PopSugar x Old Navy and the other one is with Jerome Dreyfuss. Besides attending the events I will be going out with my friends for a few drinks. Tonight I want to take it easy as I have already had a long day. It started with getting my hair done by Glam Squad, followed by a few hours of shooting with my photographer. Later, after all of my work is done, I will be doing a double workout later on— plus I am just old and can’t hang like I used to. Also The Crown season 2 was just released, so yeah, my night is set!

Have a wonderful weekend!! XO
