Happy Friday! Fashion week is officially over! I am feeling run-down, but very happy with the week. I saw some amazing shows like Jonathan Simkhai, Noon by Noor, Nicole Miller— to name a few. I’ll go more into detail in a blog post later about my week, but I loved every minute of it! I even broke my word on not going to any events… which I knew would happened. I ended up “sneaking” into the Lulu’s event after being convinced to go by a few friends. I ended up have a blast! The next night I cleared my schedule for Emily’s “surprise” (she knew about it) b-day party! We went to dinner at Blue China, then went karaoking for the rest of the night. I had SO much fun singing ABBA  songs and my karaoke go-to “Gangsta’s Paradise” by Coolio.

Of course I over did it last week/weekend with fashion week, events, and trying to squeeze in apartment showings in-between shows, that I was overly exhausted on Monday. I was so run down I knew I had to take a semi personal day. Luckily I didn’t have any shows and sad no to all events. Instead I decided to leisurely answer emails, and spend most of the day watching TV (binged watched Season 3 of Cable Girls and a few episodes of Jack Ryan), taking naps, and went to a yoga class. Much needed detox and rejuvenation. Tuesday I felt a little better but was still tired, especially during my workout. I went to Mile High Run Club and could barely finish the intervals. Probably should of have taken another day of rest…. am I old now?

Wednesday night I went uptown to Emily’s event with J.Crew. It was a nice event with champagne, veggies, and shopping. I don’t know why, but the fact that they had Brussels Sprouts to dip into hummus really excited me!! I guess it doesn’t take much to impress me. Anyway, I ended up getting this blouse in warm cedar and was eyeing this faux fur coat.

Yesterday afternoon I went to Nexxus salon in Tribeca for a blowout. The salon is so pretty and they did a great job with my hair! That evening I went to the InStyle x BCBG x Kate Young event at the BCBG store in Soho. It was a fun event! A few of my blogging friends were there, some I surprisingly didn’t see during fashion week. We were all catching up and discussing the past week’s events. As much as we all love fashion week, there is always a shared relief when the madness is over and you can breathe again.

This weekend I am not doing much except work and taking care of things I’ve neglected over the past two weeks.. cough cough.. my room.. cough. I really want to just relax and go see a movie, maybe have a quiet dinner out somewhere. Hopefully go to church if I can, work out of course, and SLEEP!

Have a great weekend xo
