Happy Friday!! Life lately has been great! I really can’t complain about things. Business is going well, my relationships are going well, my happiness is high…. life is good! After the calmness of last week, this week I am back to being busy. But I am happy about how busy I am and all the good that keeps coming into my life. I have a few fun projects coming up soon and events I am attending as well. Also I just love the holidays, so I am always extra excited this time of year.

Tuesday night I attended Martha Stewart’s Halloween Bash with Michael’s and Cricut. It was exactly what you’d think a Martha Stewart party would be like— everything, down the the detail, was perfect with lots of Halloween DIY ideas and spooky decor. After hanging out in the food and refreshments area we went into another room for arts and crafts. Martha (who is pretty funny btw), demonstrated to us how to use the Cricut— a cutting machine. What you do is you download the Cricut app, find the image that you want or create your own (we had to choose Halloween designs so I picked a pumpkin), send the design (wireless) to the Cricut and it will start cutting the paper into the design. Pretty neat! After we had our designs cut we steamed them onto a t-shirt! It was a fun event and got me in the mood for the season!

If you haven’t heard by now, Blair Eadie, owner of Atlantic Pacific, is launching a collection with Halogen for Nordstrom. Wednesday evening I attended an intimate event to celebrate Blair’s launch. Everything looks AMAZING! I really can not wait until October 22nd (when it launches), to buy everything! I can honestly see Blair wearing every single item– which makes for a great capsule collection. I have seen some influencer x brand partnerships where the collection was not the influencers style and it just doesn’t fit the bill. Blair’s collection is excellent and I know it will sell out in a second (everything is under $250). The party was a blast with drinks, fun instagrammable moments, and an illustrator. I am so excited for Blair!!

Yesterday was the beginning of Bridal Fashion Week here in New York. I have never attended BFW before, so this year I decided to test it out and see what it is like. I used to work in the wedding industry here in New York, so this is right up my alley. I attended my first show at the Lela Rose presentation. It was lovely! First of all Lela Rose is one of my DREAM designers! I have been dying to attend one of her NYFW shows; going to her bridal presentation was a jump up and down screaming excited happiness all around. To be honest, I was first obsessed with her bridal collection before I moseyed on over to her ready to wear. Even though this isn’t NYFW, being invited to a Lela Rose anything is a dream come true! The presentation was beautiful– set in Jefferson Gardens. There was a long table decorated with a traditional wedding decor set; cake, pastries, and drinks were being offered. The gowns were breathtakingly beautiful— do you think I can wear them out on the town? Honestly in New York I probably could get away with it. Anyway, the dresses were absolutely gorgeous and I had the best time! Fingers cross I will one day see her RTW collection during NYFW!!

After the presentation I went uptown to the Marie Claire x Stuart Weitzman x School of Visual Arts New York for the unveiling of the students Obsessorize Installation. There will be 28 pieces scattered around uptown Madison Ave. The one that was unveiled at the event last night was set in the 20’s and so beautiful. I am really impressed by these kids! How cool is it that their artwork is being showcased on the streets of New York? Puts my 3rd grade drawing in the Municipal building in my hometown to shame. After the unveiling we had a drinks while we mingled and shopped Stuart Weitzman’s fall collection.

This weekend I have two more bridal shows to attend (both designers I have never heard of before but thought their collection looked pretty when googling them) and am going to see the NYC Ballet perform. One of their fall seasons repertoire is called Runaway. It’s danced to the Kanye West song, Runaway. I am pretty excited to see it! I am going with a  friend of mine that I haven’t seen for about a year– I can’t wait to catch up with her! Besides pretending to be a bride and seeing ballerinas dance to Kanye, my weekend will be filled with relaxing, hanging out (I have some fall premiere shows to catch up on), working out, and enjoying the city.

Have a wonderful weekend xo
