With very little research I am much convinced that my spirit animal is a bear. Because I too love to hibernate during the winter. It’s been a little chilly here in New York and I am preparing myself for many cozy nights in. I am what you would call an ambivert. I exhibit qualities of someone who is both extroverted and introverted. I love to go out and be social and can talk to anyone about anything. I like a good party and being with friends and family. But, I also really love to stay home alone and have no problems with staying in for an entire weekend, not socializing with anyone. I can also go places alone (and have); movies, restaurants, parties, events, etc. I am both outgoing and shy. A woman of mystery……. which personality are you going to get today? This past Sunday I wrapped myself in my duvet cover and binged watched part of Netflix’s new series, The Haunting of Hill House….. I may never sleep again. I am petrified. I have to offset it with episodes of Gilmore Girls so I am thinking about happy things when going to bed instead of what bumps in the night. Anyway, with Netflix as my boyfriend with tons of great shows (Hallmark is up to bat as Christmas is around the corner) and many chilly evenings ahead, having cozy nights in is a must. For me the perfect night in is lounging around in comfortable pajamas, throwing my hair up in a scrunchie, eating popcorn (or something chocolate), pampering myself with a face mask, drinking a hot cup of tea and watching a good movie or series. I also really enjoy journaling; maybe jot down my thoughts and feelings while I am waiting to rinse off my mask. As long as I am comfortable and feeling relaxed, a cozy night in is exactly what I need every now and then.
