Happy Friday!! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Mine was pretty great– I am still so full!  We had a small gathering of family at my parents house. Although small, it was still joyous. I flew into Columbus this past Monday and have been loving hanging out with my family and friends. It feels so good to be home, exactly what I needed.

This past week has really been about spending time with loved one and less about work. I have gone to a few workouts at System of Strength with my sister Amanda and cousin Hannah. We love working out there and the community it holds. I really miss SOS and going there almost daily when I used to live in Columbus. It’s nice to get in at least 3 workouts there when I am home.

Wednesday morning I went to my friend’s house for brunch with the girls and kids. We brought our own dishes– potatoes, eggs, salad, etc. It was so nice to just relax and catch up with everyone. Every time I am home my friends and I either go out to brunch or dinner and it always ends up being so fun. I love my friends and feel so grateful that they are in my life.

This weekend is the OSU vs. Michigan game. A huge game here in Ohio. My parents are going to the game but I am staying back with my sister and niece to watch it. My days of tailgating all day long are over– can’t hang. I’d rather spend time with my sister and niece than to run around campus. But I do miss those youthful days. I am also not big enough of a football fan to sit in a stadium during a cold, rainy day. Rather be warm! So bring on the mimosas and blankets and the comfort of my own home. Go  Bucks!

Other than watching the football game I am sure my weekend will be filled with more family stuff, seeing friends, playing with my niece, maybe catch a movie, and just relaxing. I started binge watching Outlander this past week and have been obsessed with it! Really I started watching it because of Sam Heughan (the lead actor who plays Jamie).  I watched The Spy Who Dumped Me and recognized Sam from the Barbour ad campaigns and recent collection, so I decided to google him to see what else he has acted in (thought he was just a model not an actor). That is when I realized he was in Outlander, which I have heard of before but didn’t know much about. So glad I started to watch it! It’s a little like Game of Thrones but with an epic love story. It’s a great show to watch, plus Sam Heughan is pretty easy on the eyes.

Have a wonderful weekend xo
