Dear Santa…
As a kid I used to tear through magazines highlighting what I wanted. Now as an adult I seem to scramble on what I want. I can easily buy the things for myself and I have everything I need in life. Of course what I really want Santa to bring me can’t fit under a tree. Although he did get Susan Walker a house in Miracle on 34th Street, so maybe he will work some extra magic this year for me. I will let Santa handle my Hallmark movie ending and leave the rest of the items to my family. Here is my Christmas list this year.
Apparis Sophie Faux Fur Coat: Ok so I had this on my list and then ended up gifting it to myself–Merry Christmas to me! A few weeks ago I went to the Apparis trunk show event at Olive and Bette’s and the coat on my wish list was there! I couldn’t resist and got it for myself. Apparis is really blowing up in the fashion world and knew this coat would not be on the market for too long. Sometimes you have to take life into your own hands and create your own destiny. This was my destiny.
Apple TV: I guess I live in the stone age because I have still do not have an Apple TV. Everyone I know has one, except for me. I am not going to lie, I love to watch TV. I throughly enjoy sitting on my couch and binge watching shows. Apple TV will satisfy the couch potato in me. Living life to the fullest.
Saint Laurent Leather Clutch: I have been dying for this clutch for many moons. I can picture my dad having a stroke upon looking at how much it cost, but you can’t put a price on happiness. It’s a clutch I will have for many, many, many years to come and would pass down to my children. Earlier this week I posted about evening clutches–– well this is a clutch I would wear to every wedding, event, casual get togethers, sleep with, and so on.
J.Crew New York Sweatshirt: As I am typing this right now I am wearing this exact sweatshirt. So why do I want a new one? Because it’s my favorite sweatshirt and I accidentally snagged a hole. Being as it’s somewhat new (got it earlier in the year), having a hole in it makes me sad. I want a brand new one and will donate my current one somewhere or give it to H&M to recycle into material.
Tory Sport Seamless Racerback Bra: You can never have too much activewear and right now I am in need of more sports bras. I get pretty particular with my sports bras. I am not a fan of the fancy schmancy criss-cross style. I like the strap to go straight down the middle of my back and full coverage. I also like them to be a little small to feel secure.
Harry Barker Vintage Stripe Bed: I do not have a dog but I really want one! I either want a West Highland White Terrior (Westies) or a Mini Goldendoodle. Maybe I will get both someday! I already have names picked out anyway. I am allowed to have a pet in my apartment but living with two other people and in such a small confined space, it wouldn’t be fair. So if Santa could get me a new apartment that is pet friendly, I can cuddle with a puppy all day long!
Oscar de la Renta Drape Beaded Drop Earrings: How beautiful are these earrings? I am a fan of statement earrings and I would love to add these to my collection. I want them in both pink and black to wear with various outfits.
Bala Bangles Fully Adjustable Wearable Wrist & Ankle Weights: Many of the workout classes I attend use these wrist and ankle weights. I want them for days when I work out at home or for when I travel. I can still get in a good workout without having to improvise on equipment.
George & Barbara Bush: A Great American Love Story by Ellie LeBlond Sosa: It is no secret that I am obsessed with the love story between George H.W. and Barbara Bush. It’s a story of true love, respect, kindness, devotion, and friendship. Everything that I want in a relationship. They would write each other letters with such vulnerability and openness. This is the type of relationship I hope to have someday. I want to read this book as a reminder of that type of love they had for each other does exist.
Lake Pajamas Pima Cotton Long-Short Set: I love wearing matching PJS. It makes me feel put together. Lake Pajamas are so incredibly comfortable. I already have a shorts set in blue and wear it all of the time. I want a new pair with long sleeves to wear at night as well.
Audio Pro Add-on C5 Wi-Fi Multi Room Bluetooth Speaker: Listening to music is a love in my life. Having this Bluetooth speaker to play music while cleaning, working out, working, and hosting parties would be a delight. It is something nice to have for many different circumstances.
Saint Laurent Cat Eye Sunglasses: Lately I have been searching for a new pair of sunglasses, particularly in black. I tried these Saint Laurent sunglasses on the other day at SAKS and fell in love. They are the perfect frame size for my face. It’s simple and chic and would look great on me. It’s a pair that I would have for years to come and still be in style.
