Tired of wearing your winter black but it’s still not warm enough to wear your spring clothes? An easy solution to start transitioning into spring is to wear colored sweaters. In this case, striped sweaters. When I think of the iconic print my mind usually goes towards spring and summer collections. Maybe it’s due to the whole nautical look that stripes are usually associated with. Either way it’s time to pull out your favorite stripe sweaters cause spring is only a month away!!

Usually if I am wearing stripes it is the classic blue/navy and white combo. What I love about this sweater is the pop of red and pink along with the ruffle trim collar. This is a perfect transitional piece and it’s light enough to wear with shorts in the spring and perhaps in the summer as well. It gives a fun, unique twist to the classic stripe print that will go a long way into different seasons. With the color block of both light and dark colors, this sweater can easily be worn all year round. I styled it to make the pink pop out with my circle bag and pink booties, but could easily switch out the look with a darker colored purse and shoes. Perhaps use blue to keep with the theme or red to match the the larger stripe. I could even have fun with this look and style it with shades of green, keeping with the multiple color theme. It’s a cute sweater to have in your wardrobe for now and into spring.
