Bikini season is around the corner, which means it’s time to amp up our workouts to achieve that summer body we have been working towards (ugh… goodbye tacos). While I may not have the 6 pack abs I ordered for the summer, I at least want to go into the season feeling healthy and happy with my body. I have started to incorporate more HIIT workouts into my regimen along with changing up my workouts weekly. As I am usually in a dance cardio class I am trying to cut it down to only one dance class a week and fill the rest with either sculpt, pilates reformer, yoga, boxing, and HIIT. Along with going to only one dance class I will (hopefully soon) be running outside to get my cardio in.
Besides amping up my workouts I am in need of changing up my activewear. I tend to always wear black to my fitness classes. As someone who loves to wear color in their everyday wear, it’s funny that I tend to only wear black while working out. Even when I was dancing growing up I’d wear colorful leotards. Very strange. Anyway, I am trying to incorporate more color into my activewear as I love seeing others in brights colors and fun patterns. Here are a few items on my radar.
