One of my favorite parts about being a blogger is learning about new to me brands. In this case it’s a cute Knoxville-based travel-inspired leather brand called Patricia Nash Designs. What made me fall in love with Patricia Nash Designs is that each item tells a story; whether it is vintage shops from Milan or inspired by the women in small villages in Peru. The Tauria Box Bag, for example, is handcrafted with old newspaper clippings from Paris. And my floral medallion bracelet looks like something I stole from my grandmother jewelry collection. All so unique and timeless.
Patricia Nash started her company 9 years ago with the goal to capture memories in artistic ways through fashion that can be shared with women around the world. It’s a way to emerge yourself in different cultures and stories of discovery through styling a handbag or wearing a jewelry. The Tauria Box Bag spoke to me through its ode to Paris. My great grandparents are from France and the Parisian style is something I try to emulate in honor of my heritage. I have been wearing my box bag and have been getting compliments on, not only the beauty of the print, but the uniqueness and originality of it. I love discovering female-owned brands to support, and Patricia Nash Designs is a wonderful brand filled with passion for discovery and beautiful handcrafted accessories and jewelry.
