Have you ever fancied a dress so much that it was all you could think about? Every time it popped up on your radar you thought to yourself why do I not have this yet? From the start of spring I having been coveting the Rhode Ella Dress. It didn’t matter to me what color or print I bought it in, I just had to have it. I finally, finally bought one a few weeks ago and now I may never take it off. It’s a dress that will never let me down whenever I reach for it. I know I can throw it on, look good and feel comfortable.

Although I love the printed Ella dresses (I almost bought this one instead), I opted for a solid color so I could wear it more often and throughout the fall. I figured the prints that were out right now were more for the summer, but a solid color would be acceptable to wear in the autumn. This doesn’t mean I won’t ever purchase a printed Ella Dress, it means for my first Rhode’s dress I wanted it to be a classic piece. Eventually, I know, I’ll purchase a pretty floral or tapestry print. It has a little bit of a nautical theme to it with an adjustable rope waist line… ahoy matey! I also love love love the pleated skirt and how it flows in the wind and when you walk. If you are looking for a classic yet fashionable piece to invest in, this one is for you!
