Happy Friday!! NYFW is officially over and now it’s time to relax… well sorta. After a typical semi-quiet summer my schedule is back to being a busy-body. Brands are hosting fall events, holiday content collaborations are in the works, and meetings are being scheduled. I have a lot of fun things on the horizon that I can not wait for, but first I must recover from fashion week.

For fashion week I am not someone who goes crazy and is attending show after show, event after event. I try to do 1-4 shows/presentations/meetings/events a day. I have to hand it to the girls that go to everything and change outfits between shows and events. I have a lot of respect for them. It’s no easy feat. My second week of NYFW started off with a killer show from Nicole Miller. She always puts on a great runway! It’s full of energy, great music, amazing clothes, and an all around fun vibe. This year she had 5 supermodels from the past walk the runway; Pat Cleveland, Claudia Mason, Veronica Webb, Frederique Van Der Wall, and Patricia Velasquez.  The ladies were having a BLAST and so were we watching them. The models were doing the standard model walk, while these legendary women were dancing, having fun, putting lots of personality into it. Pat Cleveland was a hoot to watch, she definitely stole the show!

Monday I went to the Custo Barcelona show for the first time. Usually I am pretty picky about what shows I go to, but I also like to try out brands I may not personally wear. Custo Barcelona is a brand I have heard of before but have never shopped. I knew going into it it was a brand that was not my style or aesthetics, but was going to be a nice experience. Custo Barcelona had very Miami/ European vibe with metallic detailing, mixed vibrant prints and colors, and beachwear. Although it is not my style, the show was enjoyable to watch- mostly because there were men on the runway. I have never been to Mens Fashion Week so it was refreshing to see men’s clothing– also didn’t hurt to see them in swimsuits either.

I started Tuesday morning with the Noon by Noor show. Always one of my favorites as I want everything in the collection! There was a relaxed, beach vibe to their spring collection that I loved. Polka-dots was a major trend at NYFW and for the Noon by Noor show we saw lots of beautiful polka-dot dresses and blouses- that I obviously need. Although Ioved the polka-dot prints and the blush-toned dresses, the beaded garments are what reallllly caught my eye. I must have them all! So beautiful and unique! After Noon by Noor I ran over to Neely and Chloe’s showroom for a brunch event with Sail to Sable, Lisi Lerch, and Monogram Mary. All brands that I simply adore, love, and wear! It was nice to finally meet Lisi Lerch (so sweet and kind!) and to catch up with a few friends. Both Neely and Chloe are getting married next year, so I of course wanted all the details on wedding planning!! It was a lovely brunch!

After brunch I ran over to the new Soho Cellar— a workspace for bloggers. I have met Natalia and Olga before at an event and am so proud of them for starting this new venture. Soho Cellar is still in development but once it is done it will be beneficial for us influencers to utilize the space. There will be designated work areas, a photography studio, event space, and more. Olga and Natalia took us on a tour of the space– I really can not wait to see the finishing touches. There will be a membership to join Soho Cellar, but I think it will be worth it! The Soho Cellar was the last of my NYFW agenda for the day so I decided to stop by the Shopbop pop-up store on Spring St. Adorable place! Shopbop is one of my favorite retailers with the best brands! I knew walking in that I would obviously love the clothes, but I didn’t realize how much I would love the store in general. From cute palm tree and leopard decor to a pink velvet bar where they serve coffee (maybe alcohol at a certain hour? I didn’t ask) and a little flower shop. You can see some of my pictures here. The pop-up is opened until the 22nd of September.

Wednesday evening I went to the Uniqlo launch party of their new magazine Lifewear. It was a nice party but god awful drinks. Sorry Uniqlo, I don’t know what you were serving but I disliked every drink. Maybe my taste buds were off, but I could barely get through a glass of wine. I even tried a few mixed drinks and put it down after a sip. Other than that the food and the vibe was amazing! Thursday I went to the DL1961 event to showcase their new collection where they collaborated with influencer Mariana Hewitt. The collection looks great with a silk leopard skirt and blouse, variations of denim styles, some with a matching jacket. The collection has officially launched– so definitely shop it! I met Mariana for the first time, she was so nice and kind! She is also from Columbus, Ohio and have a mutual friend that we bonded over. Small world! After the event I went over to Hill House Home for an event they were hosting with Eighteen B. Hill House Home has the most darling little shop in the West Village. I want to move in there. Hill House Home sells anywhere from bathrobes to bedding to loungewear. EighteenB was a new to me skincare brand. I tried a few of their moisturizers and have to say they are not heavy at all. My biggest complaint with moisturizers is when they feel thick and heavy on your skin leaving you feeling sticky. Once I applied their moisturizers on– even their heaviest cream- I couldn’t feel it. They are also odorless, which is a blessing, as well as vegan. Their moisturizer is mixed with a replenishing serum and collagen. SAY NO MORE! All you have to do to convince me to buy something is say the word collagen and I am hooked.

This weekend I have nothing on the agenda except to work. I am literally going to be cooped up in my apartment working all weekend long. Wild times. I can’t complain because on Monday I am going to the premiere of Downton Abbey!!! I am literally in tears while I type this!!! I am so excited and so so so happy and grateful I was invited to the premiere!! Downton Abbey is one of my favorite shows. Upon hearing they were making a movie, I was excited to see the story of my favorite characters continue. Ah I can not wait!!!! If you are also at the premiere I am the girl who is crying and giddy at the same time.

Have a wonderful weekend xo
