Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is….
Growing up I never understood why my parents had a hard time coming up with a Christmas list. As a teenager, and even in my 20’s, my list went on for days and days. Now as a 30 something-year-old woman I completely understand. You already have everything you need and want, and if you do not, well, you go out and buy it yourself. Fortunately, Santa has not forgotten me and still leaves me presents under the tree.
I have a list, small but mighty list, for Christmas this year. The first being these blue light blocking glasses. I spend my entire day staring at a computer and my phone, having glasses that will lessen the blue light will help me in the long run (still have 20/20 vision and I plan on keeping it that way). A few things that I do need is this parka to keep me warm. My current parka is slowly starting to see better days and it’s time to get a new one. I need a parka that will brave any weather we have here in the city because Brrr it’s cold out here. Another item I need is new running shoes. I can feel my feet starting to hurt after a workout, which indicates that I need new shoes as mine are worn out. An item that I need but also want is a new duvet cover. I love my current one but it’s time for a fresh start as I am in a new apartment. The rest of my list is more items that I want; a YSL handbag, an Alexa so I can be lazy and not have to lift the remote, and a NuFace to keep me looking young (maybe that is a need?). Hopefully, Santa will bring me all of the items on my list this year, if not, well I’ll just have to become my own Secret Santa and gift myself!
