When people ask me to describe my style, I always say feminine, classic, with a dash of trendy. Growing up my mom always said to buy staple pieces, in classic colors, because it will never go out of style. As much as I love a good print or a bright color, the older I get the more I want to fill my closet with minimalist, timeless items.

An item I have been coveting for the past few years is a sweater dress. Something I can wear casually or dressed up. I finally found one that I love; it’s not too tight and the length works with my height. This sweater dress I have been wearing non-stop since I got it back in the fall. I have been pairing it with knee-high boots, flats, heels, and even sneakers. It’s a classic look that I can wear anywhere and anytime. Although it is fun to wear trendy items, I much prefer classic pieces to wear for years to come.
