“There is telepathy between hearts”

Happy Friday! Well, it’s been almost a month into quarantine and things are starting to get to me. This past week I felt emotional about everything. I have been continuously journaling, writing down my blessings, to remind myself how fortunate I still am and the silver lining of this all. Silver lining’s like how I am spending more time with my parents. This is my biggest blessing of them all.

Although I have been feeling a little down on myself this past week, I did a lot in terms of creating content. Which did put an ease to my frustration and ones that I am pretty proud of. Since I can not go out and take photos, being quarantined at home has challenged me to get creative. I am excited to show you what I have done so far and hopefully will continue to create more as time goes on.

My biggest worries throughout all of this is, well first off, the health of my family and friends. Then my career as a blogger. I have luckily noticed an increase in blog views and sales, which I can not thank you enough for! It really means a lot to me that you continue to come back to my little corner of the internet. AND to continue to purchase items from me. Some of you may not know but I do get a commission off of everything that is bought through my blog– with complete anonymity and no extra cost to you. So thank you with all of my heart for continuing to be supportive! I listened to a webinar this past wee from Amber Venz Box, founder of RewardStyle, about the future of bloggers. Luckily things are looking good across the board. This really put my mind at ease.

This weekend will mark the end of my self-quarantine from traveling. I have never been more excited to go to the grocery store! I have been taking walks with my parents and riding bikes with my dad around town, but we are not touching anything or anyone. We haven’t even hugged each other. Going to the grocery store is like taking a mini-vacation. What a world we live in.

This weekend I have no other plans except to read, finish season 3 of The Ozarks, watch movies, workout, and celebrate Easter. My parents and I are planning on watching church service either streaming online or whatever is on TV. We also decided to still dress up for dinner. Maybe not as dressed up as we would normally do for Easter, but not wear athleisure or sweats. I have been wearing a lot of jumpsuits lately to stay comfortable but to also feel put together. So I will most likely wear a jumpsuit to Easter dinner. I still find it important to celebrate Easter, as I have mentioned in an earlier post, because of what this holiday stands for. Easter is about the renewal of hope and faith; light after the darkness. This is what we need more than ever right now.

I hope you are all healthy and safe and staying home! Have a wonderful weekend xo
