At the beginning of the pandemic, I wasn’t too keen on doing at-home workouts. I enjoy going to the studio; seeing familiar faces, being challenged by an instructor or fellow participant to work harder, having fun while sweating. Sure it was nice to have a little break from over-exhausting my body, and my body really needed this break. I was experiencing shoulder, neck, and back issues at the beginning of the year. Now I do not have as much of an issue and if I have any inflammation in my muscles or joints, I do workouts that are low impact like yoga or fast-pace walking for a few miles.
Although my body is glad for somewhat of a break, I still wasn’t motivated to do my workouts at home. I wasn’t skipping my workouts, just was not as enthusiastic about doing them. Now I have come to appreciate at-home workouts. I have been doing about 30 minutes of one of the many various workout styles of Obé Fitness followed by 10-20 minutes of DanceBody dances. I loved that I can do all of my favorite fitness classes in one day! If you are looking for new at-home workouts, I created this blog post here at the beginning of the pandemic of (some of) my favorite fitness classes you can do.
Since working out from home has saved me money these past few months, I think it’s time to add new activewear to my wardrobe. Of course, I do not want to overspend. I think we are all trying to save a dollar here and there. There are plenty of cute activewear pieces for under $100. I recently bought these leggings for $25 and am wanting to buy more colors. Sure we are not sporting our new fitness attire for the world to see, but I am a firm believer in if you look good, you feel good. If you love your activewear you will be more inclined to actually workout! Plus fall is approaching and we will be back to wearing athleisurewear to run errands in, I, for one, want to still look cute while feeling comfortable. Here are a few activewear items for under $100.
