Who else is ready to ring in 2021? I, for one, am looking forward to a new year. To move forward to new opportunities and experiences and hopefully the light at the end of a very dark tunnel. I hope and pray 2021 brings the calm and happiness we desperately need. It’s about time we step into the light.
As, hopefully, you are all doing, my New Year’s Eve plans are to stay home. To be honest, my favorite New Year’s Eves of the past have been celebrated at home and not at some fancy party. All I need is a dinner party at home with close friends, a sequined dress, and a party headband. The worst New Year’s Eves I have had were at some crowded bar where I can’t get a drink or talk to friends. I have done a few blow-out fancy parties at hotels that were lots of fun. This year, however, I rather stay safe and be responsible than gather with a bunch of people.
Although I will be watching the ball drop from the comfort of my own home, I still want to dress up for the occasion. A sequined top or velvet dress will have you feeling as if you are celebrating at a fancy party. A cute feathered PJ set or sweater will keep you comfortable while elevating your look. Whatever you choose to wear, I hope you have a wonderful evening.
